Ross Couch - "Body & Soul EP" (Siesta Music)

"I am sure Francois K et al would approve of the title track with its deep resonating guitar chords, lovely keys, sumptuous rhythm and whining “body and soul” vocals of this layered builder. Quality. “So Beautiful” is a funky tribal jam with soulful male vocals and softening strings whilst “Dark Jam” with its chiming chords, soaring brass and punchy rhythm is a looped groove for late night excursions." 4/5

"Not a homage to the NYC juice bar but rather a late-night, soulful sax dreamster from Glasgee lad Couch. Beautifully produced and wholly infectious, it might surprise the Siesta heads but would suit Inspirit to a tee. On the flip, an electro-funk track and a more West Coast offering complete a very plausible package." 3/5
