Ross Couch - "Feel It / Desmet,Diesel & Mai rmx" (Offset Music)

---

DJ Magazine (Nov), Review by James Kendall

"Ross Couch has been a busy boy lately, with two singles coming our way in the last two issues. This is even better than "The Shakedown", a balance of peak-time energy, deep keys, and some cool vocal hooks. The drums are what catch the attention, like a Siesta record racing to the airport to declare it's before it's girl leaves forever. It's given a real run for it's money by the Desmet, Diesel and Mai mix though - a slower, more sensual jazzed out take that has a touch of the Marques Watt about it. That Chuck Diesel is an engineer at Moulton Studios says it all." 4/5

I-DJ Magzine (Dec) Review by Jez Torrance

"Ross Couch might not have the most glamorous name but he can always be relied upon for good tunes - he's released 3 or 4 great EP's in the last couple of months. And 'Feel It' is another. With warm rhodes and flutes, skippy drums and a nice bit of vocal harmonizing it's a deep but slick thing which is reworked into a trackier, starker but still jazzy version by the Amenti Boys" (3/5)

TTR Magazine (Dec) Review by Natalie C

"A quality follow up to his last release, 'Feel It' remains within Ross' techno-percussive sound but with a more housey vibe. Chattering hi-hats and driving bass meet lush vocal elements and warm chords fill your mind with exhileration. Desmet, Diesel and Mai offer a deeper jazzy remix consisting of sax, jazz guitar and organ riffs. As a record of two halves this is an essential for the travelling bag with two tunes appropriate for individual occasions."
